During the strawberry season the ideal accompaniment can be found in our woods. Sweet woodruff grows in clearings and the elderflower bushes are in bloom. Rhubarb enhances the apple’s acidity. A light sediment is an indication of a natural product and is what we expect to see. With fluctuations in temperature the acidity of the rhubarb will, over time, react with the natural calcium in the apple creating the sediment.

Aroma: Lush scent of sweet strawberries, herby woodruff and fragrant elderberry flower.
Taste: Ripe, fresh apple combined with the sweetness of strawberries, lush floral, long, sweet finish.
Food pairing: On its own, as an aperitif, or with fresh strawberries, also in combination with rhubarb as dessert variation.
